When we write songs, inspiration can come from anywhere: personal experience plays a large part, but the desire to touch upon universal themes is always evident. Usually one of us presents the basic structure of a song, but the final form is not set until we all kick it around a bit. The interaction of our separate but compatible personalities is what brings the arrangement of a song to life.
